Comfortable, tight fit before break in
I have these in dark brown leather. Like all my R&B boots I ordered my normal size. They all fit really snug across the instep of my feet when I first put them on. I wear them around the house for a while and as the leather warms up, it stretches and molds to my feet. It's a close fit, but not too tight or painful in any way. After the initial break in period- these are very comfortable, even with a 3.5" heel. The leather is soft and pliable- no blisters or irritation anywhere. If you like a looser fit- order half size up and you won't be disappointed. Love these.

so cute but they hurt
i really wanted these to work bc they are so cute and they fit my foot nicely BUT the opening of the shaft was so stiff they hurt! and they hit my lower shin at a place where there was just no way i could get around them hurting when i walked. and even if i fought through the pain for the sake of their cuteness, i would have had some serious bruising and really sore shins. sadly, I had to return.

Same pitch, higher shaft
I’ll have to update this as the wearing for a bit. Aesthetically, they are beautiful booties. They feel much narrower than the newbury 1.0, which are my ultimate go-to for a comfortable all-day-walking-in-the-city bootie. My newbury 1.0s are on their last legs from me being bad with them in the rain. Interested to see how these wear with the lug sole now. The shaft comes up higher than the 1.0 and rubs my lower shin in a weird way that will either cause a blister or I’ll get used to it. The pitch feels the same as 1.0. Just FYI on sizing - Nordstrom’s site isn’t accurate. A 41 in r&b is a size 10 and go down from there. If you size your self based on European sizing (41=10, 40=9, etc) instead, you’ll get the proper size without “sizing up half a size.” Hoping these wear in quickly and are as comfortable as the 1.0!

Lacking size 35.5, no arch support
Gorgeous 2.0 version of the Newbury. They are somewhat comfortable for a 3.75” boot, but lacking arch support. I love how the toe seam goes half way and the fold at the ankle goes half way (not around the back), making it a unique design. Love the sturdy sole. Unfortunately, rag & bone does not make size 35.5 so I had to return (tried both 36, too big, and 35, too small). Runs true to size.

Cute boot, but runs very small
I really wanted to like these but they run small. Recommend going up one full size. Very difficult to take on and off. Wasn’t a fan of zipper style either. Back to the drawing board!

these r so cute & on trend! sizing a little tricky- i’m a 6.5 & 36 was too tight, 37 fits with thick socks only. they’re a little tight across the toes but after 1 day of wearing they’ve become super comfy. great heel height & so sturdy feeling! great leather & not tight at the ankle! love them! took away 1 star for the sizing :-/
