Million Gold for Her Eau de Parfum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll start with the design of the bottle, which is beautiful, stylish, and looks nice next to my collection. The smell of this perfume is great for my taste. I can wear it during the day or for a night out. It is floral and sensual, but not too sweet, so it is nicely balanced. Currently, it's one of my favorites!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging exudes a luxurious and sophisticated feel. The fragrance opens with a sweet, floral profile that I found very enjoyable. However, the dry down on my skin shifts to a predominantly woody note with a slightly sour undertone, which I did not care for. Despite this, the fragrance performs admirably and projects strongly throughout its wear.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try this Rabanne ‘Million Gold for her’ fragrance, popular for its sweet, floral notes. First things first - the box it comes in is outrageously dated and masculine in its design, its white and brushed gold aesthetic reminiscent of 90s cigarette packets. I found it quite remarkable that a fragrance marketed to women (or is it?) could get this so wrong! I couldn’t wait to get it out the box and banish it to the recycling! Moving away from the box, the bottle itself is rather beautiful - a chunky crystal glass style affair, with glinting geometric facets and golden accents, which would look gorgeous on display. It also felt lovely in the hand. Next up - the fragrance itself. I applied a single spray to my wrist and let it sit on my skin to air dry. Unfortunately the scent was overwhelmingly sweet, the floral notes heavy and cloying, like it was trying hard to cover up a bad smell - or public scandal. I really struggled to leave it on but I wanted to see if it mellowed at all. After a couple of hours, it hadn’t improved and its presence felt very intrusive. Like if I wore this to the office, I would be getting glares of annoyance everywhere I went for polluting the air space. Rather like the outer packaging, it feels old-fashioned, dated and lacking in taste - think chunky gold clip on earrings, shoulder pads and bright congealed lipstick from the power-dressing 80s and 90s. In fact, it reminds me of a distant aunt who I’ve not seen since childhood. This perfume’s vibe is stuck trying to make a statement in a man’s world circa 1986 rather than striding out on its own in 2026 and just being a leader for its own merit. I washed it off and the residual scent was much more pleasant but I’m aware this is far from a ringing endorsement. Sorry, but it’s not for me.

These scents combine the harmoniously to create a truly unique fragrance that makes me feel confident. It lasts all day and is not overwhelming. The bottle has a timeless appeal which will appeal to everyone. It has a tesslated design made from glass with a gold cap. This is classic perfume

It’s in a fun geometric design perfume bottle that’s going to look great amongst my other perfumes. The only thing is the 30ml doesn’t have the gold pendant design on it, which is a big feature of this perfume, this looks to only be on the 50ml and larger sizes
