Platform High Top Sneaker (Women)

We did a road trip to San Fran this weekend and snagged these. I love this brand- ex rocker and still living my best life. These are so beyond comfortable I couldn’t even tell you how much they cost. I ripped off my other Gucci sneaker and wore these out the store for the rest of our Covid va-cay! hWhaaat - life is so strange but making the best of it one purchase at a time - wink! Ok so they never carried my size online I was lucky to find in store. Very little stock there at Union Square Nordstrom. I am a 10 and purchased the 40’s - fit like a glove. I paired them will all my designer clothes and they look so good!

I was so excited to finally pull the trigger on these. Got them home and tried them on while trying on some outfits and the pull on the zipper just FELL OFF. What?? I cant accept something so flimsy after shelling out almost $600. These are my first pair from this brand... wouldnt trust another replacement as all I would be thinking about it is happening again as the pull was obviously not manufactured well, and I doubt another pair will not have the same issue. These will have to go back and my original plans to acquire another pair in another color have been cancelled. Thank God it happened before I spent even more money on this brand.

Same as another reviewer here, I also was a big fan of Converse platforms,. I've been wearing Converse sneaks since I was a Punk in the 70's, and loaded up on the Converse platforms as soon as they came out. These R13's are crazy expensive compared, but they won me over, and I won't likely buy another pair of Converse. These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn, and I have worn a pair every day for over a year now. I have them in Ecru and Black, and just ordered another pair of the Nordstrom Exclusive Red and Ecru checked. The zipper up the back is beautiful, you don't have to unlace much to put them on. I had to fix the stitching on the zipper on one pair, but I wear them hard, and move all day, so I push everything to its limit. If you think you like them, but are hesitating because of price, they're worth every penny. I wear a 7 in Converse, an 8 in R13s, so size up one if you're a Converse wearer!

I’m a huge converse fan since they started making platforms. So I tried to tell myself these were just over-priced converse shoes. But a month later I couldn’t stop thinking about them. My salesperson Sam in the Nashville store called them the Golden Goose version of Converse. I liked his description much better. Get them, or you won’t be able to stop thinking about them.
