Quintessa Shirred Organic Cotton Maxi Dress

There’s something about the sound this dress makes when I move—the crispy fabric rustling around me—it’s oddly unforgettable. Like most Doen dresses, the sizing is pretty forgiving. I’m usually a size M (5’7”, broad shoulders, around 140 lbs, and typically a 29/30 in jeans), but the size S fits me comfortably in this one. I really wish it had pockets though. And honestly, if it were under $100, I might’ve kept it. But at this price point? It’s a pass for me. It also feels just a little too much for everyday wear. I’m still on the hunt for that perfect black dress—something soft, feminine, a little mysterious, but not trying too hard.
