Quilted Faux Shearling Jacket

I love the look of this coat, the pictures online do a good job - got exactly what I expected. But the inner liner is faux suede which makes the coat warm and likely very durable, but also quite heavy and stiff. The outside and inside do feel soft to the touch. Overall I like it, got it on anniversary sale, not sure I’d like it as much at full price. Agree with other reviewers to size down, I wear L in coats and got this in Medium and have plenty of room for a sweater underneath. As long as you need a heavier coat (not just a fuzzy fleece) you will like it.

Ordered the navy online, received today, and I love it. (Maybe I’ll order the cream one as well!?) RL outerwear is always good. Fits my broad shoulders and long arms, unlike some brands. This is a very soft-to-the-feel coat on the outside, and the inner lining is substantial, and so I know between those two factors, I’ll stay warm. Size wise, I’m a size 10 or 12 top, and I got the medium. Plenty of room for a medium weight sweater underneath. So I would say it fits on the slightly large side but not “too.”

The jacket is high quality, on the heavier side, but also runs large. Bought my regular medium and it’s much too large so will be returning. It’s unfortunate that Nordstrom doesn’t offer exchanges because I’d love it in a smaller size but bc I bought it through the Anniversary Sale, I don’t love it enough to buy at full price.

I love timeless classics and this did not disappoint - the cream is classy and it’s surprisingly a heavier weight coat. Although medium is my true size- this was a little bit roomy but I like that I can wear a bulkier layer underneath. The trim on the coat along with the quilted pattern make this stand out! Super excited for fall!
