Queen Cream

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like very thick creams because I live in a very dry part of the country. The Queen Cream surprised me as it really helps my foundation go on smoother. It may not be for everyone but if you like a rich hydrating balm. . . this is your cream.

I had a deluxe size of this and tried it with no expectations, so was surprised to find that this cream is actually a balm instead. I find the best way to apply this sort of product is to distribute between the fingertips, then gently press into the skin. It has a mild scent which is not offensive. This did leave a very nice finish to the skin, with a slight satin effect. Unfortunately, I didn't find it quite moisturising enough for my dry dehydrated skin, and I also didn't like the feel of it. I did not enjoy application, and I didn't like the feel on my skin when on (a bit tacky). This is probably because it is trying to act as a primer as well as a moisturiser, but I'd rather use 2 different products as and when I want them to rather than one which does not do the most important bit for me well enough. If you are in the market for a hybrid product, and like a balm style application, it is worth a go. This is a more modern version of the cold creams my mum and grandma used to use when I was growing up. It feels soothing on my skin and very moisturising. I love to use it in autumn and winter when my skin feels a little but chapped and this sorts it out in no time! For Omorovicza I feel like it's a good price too.

This is one of my favourite moisturizers- it is thick, rich and sinks in well and leaves my skin glowing - but why is the pot now 30ml, when before the packaging relaunch it was 50ml (and the price per ml was lower)? The rating is five stars for the product but three for the packaging, as surely five 30ml pots use more glass and plastic than three 50ml ones which is hardly eco-friendly?
