Makes a nice gift
I bought this as part of a shaving gift for my husband. He is pleased with it. He has not complained about the hair shedding as other reviewers do. He uses a stand so maybe tgat helps

Not nearly as good as the Badger hair shave brush
My husband had one of The Art Of Shaving’s badger hair shaving brushes. It lasted for years. He probably had it for almost 10 years. Hair finally started coming out of it so I needed to order him a new one. This “synthetic hair” shaving brush is the only one you have now so I ordered him one of these. It is horrible. He won’t even use it. He says the soap doesn’t stay on it because it is synthetic. We will be tossing it and looking for a real badger hair brush elsewhere.

Tanked
The quality of this company’s products has unquestionably tanked over the years. I bought a brush from them maybe eight years ago and the quality was worth the price and to this day that brush has not lost a single hair. I’m a firefighter and this year decided to buy another here at work. One shave and it’s losing hairs. It loses hairs every time I use it. It’s cut too long, it’s not firm enough, and in no way justifies its price.

Why no stand
Why no stand. I mistakenly assumed this came with a brush stand it does not. Why don’t you sell it with the stand?

Very Poor Shaving Brush
I received this brush as a Christmas gift (I have owned several brushes prior to this one - they've all worn out over time after years of use). While I could have lived with the mediocre quality of the bristles, this one just plain fell apart over time. Day after day after day, a substantial amount of bristles would just fall out of the brush and onto my face or into the soap dish as I lathered the brush. After months of this, I decided to contact the company to find out what they could do about this situation. After much back and forth, the best they could do was offer me a replacement brush. I offered to pay the difference and upgrade, but they refused to allow me to do this. Not sure why this is. Overall, based on my experience I would not recommend this brush

Perfect
Perfect lather enhanced with a perfect brush. I’ve never used a brush before but will never not use one again.
