What it is: A primer that smoothes skin for even makeup application and improves skin's radiance instantly and over time.
What it does: The illuminating primer gives you a flawless base for makeup but also enhances skin's natural radiance, even once makeup is removed. It is formulated with porcelain flower extract rich in antioxidant properties to restore skin luminosity. A carefully crafted blend of micronized pearls helps naturally reflect light to instantly improve the look of skin's radiance and brightness, smooth texture and imperfections.
How to use: Apply the primer after your skin-care routine. Squeeze a dime-size amount onto your fingertips and gently massage it all over your face.

Watery and not illuminating
I loved the original primer and was very happy to have found it. The replacement is nothing like the original. It is watery and burns when applied. It does not have an illuminating glow .

Changed both size and formula
This new version of the Pure Canvas Primer Illuminating is 20mL less than my older version and a lot less illuminating to the point it doesn't look any different than a regular primer. Granted, the older version required me to "knock back" the glow with a little powder, but this new version is thinner in viscosity, there's barely any illuminating effect, and it's smaller in size, but not less money. I much prefer the older version and will be looking for a different illuminating primer. I don't see the point in staying loyal to this one.

Used to be good, not anymore
First of all, the tube came with the primer oozing out of it. I've been using this for years and it's more than doubled in price for much less product. And it's no longer illuminating. Don't buy. I'll be looking for something else to use. Disappointing.

Not as good as original
This product is fine, but the original was much better. This one doesn’t have as much glow.
