Maui Jim

Maui Jim traces its sandy roots back to 1980, when it began selling sunglasses on Ka'anapali Beach in Lahaina, Maui. The company's revolutionary PolarizedPlus2® lens tamed intense glare and harmful UV rays, while also enhancing the island's brilliant natural colors. Maui Jim now offers more than 100 styles of polarized sunglasses, all of which provide 100% protection from UVA and UVB rays.

Maui Jim always delivers on great sunglasses! I love their polarized GLASS lenses. Most manufacturers have moved to plastic lenses and the optical quality and scratch resistance is just not the same as glass. I have been wearing Maui Jim's for about 25 years now and will continue to return as long as they continue to make a premium product.

Poor quality control

Note: support and customer care has been helpful so far. Review is for glasses. I’m very disappointed in these. Two days after purchasing, the same screw others are describing began to come loose. I exchanged them for a new pair, but within about a week the same issue is now happening with the new pair. There is clearly a design or manufacturing flaw with these glasses that I hope Maui Jim’s addresses. I was very excited to have my first pair of Maui Jim’s but my faith in the brand is a bit shaken now.

Annoying

The lenses are great, as are all of Maui Jim lenses. The frames are light, but the frame is visible while wearing them. I have returned them for a different pair.

Cheapo Maui Jim style

These are the cheapest looking and feeling sunglasses. They don’t even come close to the quality of Maui Jim sunglasses. So disappointed in these.

Overall - love them.

I love them, but one of the screws is coming out. They fit well and really appreciate the lenses. This is the 5th pair of Maui Jim sunglasses I have owned.

Great style screw comes out

Love the look. The screw on the right side continues to unscrew. Recently it completely fell out.
