Prisme Libre Glow Serum Blurring & Hydrating Foundation

I admit it took me 3 tries to find the right shade but I am very happy with 1.5C on my light/medium wrinkled, some large pores, textured, sun damaged skin. This covers beautifully but is not heavy coverage like my Haus Labs. It goes on smooth, no caking, and seems to stay in place for my 9hr workday. I have no complaints and am so glad I kept trying to find my correct shade-I knew it was good when I loved it even in 2C (too pinky) and 2N (too warm) felt good but shades were off. It truly put it on over my Japanese sunscreen and don’t think about it the rest of the day.

I truly liked the finish on this foundation. It had a nice glow and didn’t seem drying. I also liked how lightweight it was. The problem, and why I am returning it, is due to the fact that it has fragrance in it. Why do companies feel the need to put perfume in our foundation? It’s so bad for our hormones and our skin. I had an adverse reaction immediately after I applied this foundation. Please make this foundation without fragrance and I will be a loyal customer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve given this foundation a bunch of tries, and it just isn’t working for me. I have skin on the oilier side, but also can be prone to some dry patches, and I find that this doesn’t perform well on my dry patches in particular. While I don’t find that this makes me oily, it sits on top of my skin and never fully blends in, no matter whether I apply with a sponge or brush. If I have any dry patches, it also clings to those areas. You can see in my photo that I’ve put on only a light layer (which doesn’t provide that much coverage, you can see spots peeking through) because if I put on any more, it looks too heavy on the skin or really emphasizes dryness. I gave this a fair shot and tested it out a few times, but I never wanted to reach for it because I always felt like my makeup wouldn’t turn out as good when I used it. The consistency is on the thinner side and it doesn’t feel heavy going on, but I just don’t like how it sits on the skin. The glass packaging is beautiful and it has a nice pump, but I don’t think it justifies the downsides. This might be better suited toward people that don’t have that much texture, but otherwise I wouldn’t recommend this product, especially given it’s hefty price point and the fact that there are plenty of better performing foundations on the market.

Very nice for every day if you like a lightweight foundation then this is for you. It goes on very lightly on the skin and looks like your skin, but better all day. I really using this foundation on no makeup makeup days, to look refreshed but not cake-y.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love trying new skincare adjacent foundations because the formulas keep getting more sophisticated. And this Givenchy one is really in a league of its own. It really makes your skin just look like good skin - not like you have make up on. It’s a light to medium coverage foundation that could probably build to heavy coverage. But I think the sweet spot is a light application. It really applied to look like my normal skin, just without any hyperpigmentation showing. It didn’t settle into lines and really just looked so soft and natural. And I love that it’s glowy and not matte. A great foundation!
