PrimaLoft® Down Alternative Comforter

A friend recommended this and she was right! It’s very light weight but perfectly warm with just the right amount of loft. I actually went to the store and compared it to the other, more expensive, brand. So glad I did! We both loved it from the first night. We may need to replace all the others in the house!

The comforter is advertised as all season but it’s pretty warm. Even with an air conditioner in the room. The shell also makes a decent amount of noise, which seems to be a common issue with down alternative comforters.

I live in Boston and needed a new comforter. I have allergies so I decided to try this. It kept me warm throughout the night without a doubt! I like that it's machine washable also. I would recommend!

I started using this comforter around December 8, 2025. I *really* liked it because, as other reviews have said, it's the right combination of warmth, loft, and breath-ability. However, in May 2026, I started noticing cold spots and realized that the fill material had started to clump. I bought this comforter specifically because the baffle-box construction was supposed to prevent clumping, so I am disappointed. The images show the top of the comforter as well as some of the baffles with back-lighting. I didn't wash or shake the comforter at all. This is just what happened after 6 months of normal use.
