Portola Two Strap Sandal (Women)

I could tell that the footbed of this sandal would be very comfortable, and the idea of 3 adjustable straps is a good one too. However, the strap over the height of my instep, just below my ankle, was short enough so that even though the Velcro closed it left an inch or so of itchy Velcro material pressing down onto the bare skin on the top of my foot. Had to return.

These are GREAT shoes. Super comfortable. You can adjust every strap to make them perfect. EXCEPT the strap with the buckle is WAY too short! I have flat feet (not a high instep) and the strap is not long enough without leaving a lot of velcro exposed. The buckle is also in a strange spot. It is toward the top of your foot (no where near where you'd expect the buckle. The good news though is that it wouldn't rub on your ankle like some buckles do. I would have loved to keep these but the short strap over the instep is a deal breaker so they must go back.
