Christmas Tree Rectangular Serving Dish

I received this dish and was very excited to add it to our collection. The first time I used it for a French toast casserole I took it out of the oven and placed it on a wood board and it cracked. I contacted the company and they implied that it was not meant for baking and was a serving dish only. Absolutely absurd… it’s listed as bakeware on the site, specifications list that it’s oven safe… but it broke due to improper use by baking in it. We have enough Christmas tree Spode to use nothing but that during the holidays and I’ve never had an issue until now.
