Comfortable, soft leather
Very soft leather. They will mold to your feet. My feet are on the narrow side, not a true narrow, and they are comfortable with the additon of a tongue pad (keeps the foot from sliding forward).

So disappointed in Sperry
I was so excited to receive this dressed up version of a Sperry loafer. I was impressed with the comfort and quality of the leather -- both inside and outside the shoe until ..... I wore them three times and on the third time, the stitching came apart on the top of both shoes. I read that this happened to others in previous reviews, but I was willing to give them a go. It's so hard to find a dressy-ier version of a comfortable shoe, so l'm on the hunt again. These will be returned.
