This convertible car seat accommodates your baby as they grow and easily switches to forward-facing when your baby is ready, taking taking the stress out of moving on to the next car seat stage. It also features ClickTight® Installation that quickly and safely secures the car seat and has a slim SpaceSaver™ design that saves backseat space.

Why parents will love it: Quickly install the car seat with ClickTight® technology that takes the guesswork out of securely installing the car seat. It features fully open seat belt paths are clearly labeled and easy to access. The steps are easy: open, thread, buckle and click it closed. Save space with the slim 17" seat designed to fit 3-across without compromising on trusted Britax® safety and premium comfort. The ReboundReduce™ carbon steel stability bar attaches to the car seat when installed rear-facing to minimize movement in the event of a crash—must be removed when installed forward-facing.

Why kids will love it: Premium cushioning helps provide lasting comfort and the infant insert helps properly position newborns. It features a 14-position headrest, quick-adjust harness and a six-position recline to keep your child comfortable as they grow. Two cup holders keep drinks and snacks within reach.

Child weight/height: Accommodates up to 50 lb. when installed rear-facing. It easily switches to a forward-facing car seat as your child grows, accommodating up to 65 lbs.

Car seat weight/dimensions: 28 lb. seat; 20.5” x 23.5” x 17” seat dimensions.

Safety features: The carbon steel frame and SafeCell® crumple zone help absorb crash energy and a patented V-shaped tether helps slow forward movement. This seat is side-impact tested according to FMVSS 213a. It is also tested to FMVSS 213 frontal impact standards. FMVSS 213a sets side-impact standards for children up to 40 lbs and 43” with a five-point harness.

Installation is so easy!
Love this car seat so much! My 9 month old is super happy to be able to see more, and seems so much more comfortable in his big boy seat. Switching between my husband truck and my car is so easy as well. The clock tight is a must have for switching a car seat back and forth.

Not for kids who get car sick
This is our 8th Britax car seat, so we love the brand, just not this particular seat. Loosening and tightening the harness is more difficult than it should be, the lever to hold while loosening the straps is buried under layers of fabric and the strap to tighten them is against the seat of the car. Our baby gets car sick often and it is a nightmare to clean. The shoulder pads are not removable, so we cannot wash the smell out of them. I do not believe the straps or favorite around the rebound bar are removable either, if they are, we haven’t figured it out. The pieces that do come off don’t go back on as nicely, so we have an expensive car seat that looks and smells awful. The click tight function seems to be very temperamental compared to our other click tight car seats and I find myself having to manually unlock the bottom of the seat before pushing it down. The head rest adjust nicely, and it looks very cushy. If knew 9 months ago what I now, I would have kept our marathon opted for another brand.

Great car seat!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved this car seat for my daughter. I’ve never heard of this brand before but I was not disappointed! It adjusts so that as she grows the car seat will grow with her! And it met all my safety concerns so that’s a plus!

Awesome product! This is our second purchase for second vehicle. Very easy to install and adjust. Game changer compared to other “top” brands. I am disappointed because in the pictures this looks tan. It looks grey in real life.

Great seat!
We absolutely love this seat. The install is a breeze, my kids prefer it comfort wise over our old gracos. The extended rear facing limits are fantastic, our 4.5 year old is still comfortably rear facing in hers. Easy to assemble and wash. Very slim side to side and incredibly compact front to back.

Can we get a moms input in design PLEASE
Britax. Can I ask WHY the strap pads are connected to the car seat? Why would these not be removable to easy washing? Which leads me to my next point… why are there so many elastic loops in impossible to reach hooks that hold the cushions in place. Car seats have to be washed. Their ease in washing ability is what makes or breaks a car seat for me. I love this car seat but zero stars for its wash ability. Also, the anchors are not click connect, they are the incredibly frustrating squeeze latch thing. 0/10 recommend. You definately want the quick and easy latches that are just like car seat buckles.
