Kylie Curvy Fit Flare Leg Jeans

I so wanted these to work. Size 18W - 5'8". I can't remember the last time I would have to hem pants. These flare legs are at least 5 inches too long - even taking into account the 'fashionable' floor drag. Unfortunately, due to the wide bell-bottom-shape of the legs - I think hemming would ruin the lines. Jean material feels great Love the stretch but still real denim feel. The waist is unforgivingly the correct size or slightly tighter. However, the high outside thighs - what I call saddlebags - had extra fabric / very roomy. These pants are going back only because of the excessive length. Sure wish there were even more Poetic Justice styles to choose from. Nordstroms is slowly getting better on the Plus size selection. Yay!

I have been eyeing these for awhile but the few negative reviews regarding length kept me from it. I finally decided to try them out bc they were on sale & I have to agree, these are about 4-5 inches too long for me. I'm 5'7 with not much butt and thinner thighs. Belly is my problem area. Normally wear a 16w if it has stretch & try to get short length if avail but gained a little weight so tried out the 18. These are tagged as regular length which are usually ok on me but sometimes way too long unless wearing heels. Fit wise for my body type, waist is comfy & fits but jeans are looser than I care for in butt, thighs & legs so they look sloppy on me. Was hoping I could modify leg opening but agreeing with another reviewer think it would not look right. That along with looser fit will have me returning them. Sad bc love color, fading, rips etc.. if you are very tall or can wear VERY high heels these may work for you. Might try for a smaller size if not sold out. They do have quite a bit of stretch throughout. 3 stars for look & comfort.
