Pleated Wrap Front Midi Skirt

I am a size Medium on bottoms, typically (size 6). I bought this skirt in a M size, and surprisingly, it was too big in the waist area. As for the length, it is much longer on me than on the model but this is because I am petite. I could wear it as a longer skirt and still looks good, or could take in to the tailor to have the length adjusted. Either or, the length could work for petite or tall ladies. The skirt in itself is very pretty with a slight edgy design but elegant at the same time, a look that I love much. This item seems to be of good quality, and with good care, it could be used for many years. Sadly, I had to return and am debating on whether to purchase the S size to pair it with the jacket. Speaking of the jacket, it was reviewed separately, but for the sake of helping with sizing and saving time, a bought a size S and did not fit, it was too tight around the chest area. I had to return it and bought the next size up (M) and it fits like a glove. So in my opinion, the skirt runs large and the top runs small. For the record, my measurements are 28 inch waist, 39 inch hip, bra size is 34 C, height 4'11.
