Double knife pleats bring old-school detailing plus a touch of extra room to dress pants that sit just below the waist and taper a bit toward the ankles to maintain a smart, classic profile. Tailored from a lightly slubbed blend of cotton and wool, they pair well with softer fabrics to keep your look on the relaxed side of formal.
Fabrication: Slubbed weaves have irregularly textured surfaces from randomly occurring thicker filling yarns. Typically on the semiformal side of formal, they can be woven from natural, synthetic or blended fibers.
Formality: Semiformal and elevated-casual occasions that require you to look on the relaxed side of well-dressed, including daytime events, business-casual meetings, work travel and social functions.
