Verona Pleated Cap Sleeve Minidress

I purchased this dress in the red color and black color. I initially loved them both and thought to keep both. However, after trying them both on a few times I noticed a few things: the orange one fit a little bigger in the top/armholes seemed bigger and my bra was exposed, the cinched waist was “weak”/ there was no sucking in of the tummy area, the red color in particular showed all of its wrinkles and creases/the material would be nearly impossible to keep from having wrinkles all over it (the black color made the creases less noticeable), I’m 4’11” and I cannot imagine anyone taller than me feeling comfortable in the length of this dress/it’s definitely short. If you have any stomach at all, this dress will not suck you in and may even accentuate it. I LOVED the color of the red, but returned because to me it would’ve required too much maintenance and the armholes were too big and I didn’t want a dress I had to fuss with at this price point. I’m still on the fence about returning the black. It’s a cute dress, but because of its shorter length, sleeveless style and being black, I might not wear it much. I found it to fit pretty true to size. I ordered a small and I’m 4’11” and 120 lbs.

I am 5’3” and length comes just above knees. Not mini on me if this helps. Also, I have a smaller waist and I am curvy. I think I will wear with stockings and boots in winter or in summer a cute heel. I am a large and I ordered a large. You will need a black bra because the underarms do not fully cover the bra area. I purchased this on sale. I would not buy this dress at regular price because I do like to cover my knees and I don’t like any bra showing in underarm area. It’s definitely worth the sale price and you can accessorize this dress in so many ways. Material is soft and shiny.
