Plaid Shacket

At 5'3 I've had such a hard time finding a shacket that's not humongously oversized and unflattering on me, but sizing down in this one was the perfect fit. Still cozy but not TOO oversized. I could've also went with my usual S but I just found the XS more flattering. Definitely recommend trying this out if you've had similar issues finding the right one!

I originally purchased this in my true medium, but the sleeves were short on my 5'10" frame so I tried the large. The sleeves fit much better and thankfully this shacket has more of a slim fit so it doesn't make me look wide. I don't mind the extra room (especially with a growing baby bump coming this winter). Definitely cute, soft, non-itchy, solid style for the NSale.

I have been searching for a shacket for a while now with no dice. Everything was too big and frumpy (even sizing down). This one popped up after sending back the Good American one I tried last. Seeing some other reviews saying this was a good fit for petite ladies, I went for it! I’m 5’2 32 G chest 140lbs and sized down to the small and it fits great! Still room to layer, without having all the bulk. I personally like that it isn’t lined. Will be a fall/winter staple in my wardrobe for sure!

I normally wear a Large on top (38D, 31” waist), but sized down to a Medium based on reviews. It fits perfectly. Still relaxed through the body, but without looking baggy through the shoulders and arms. It’s a good weight, not too thin or too thick. I love that it has pockets. Definitely looking forward to wearing this in the fall.

I wanted the grey and brown colorway but it was sold out so tried the yellow/green color. Jacket is oversized, which I expected, but the arms were too short (I have pretty long arms). I also felt that this was too boxy and fanned out too much in the back. Hopefully one of the other NSALE shackets is a better fit for a long armed gal!
