Placed Floral Print Long Sleeve Cotton Top

Just a note, this top is insanely beautiful, airy, regal…all the things. If you are more generous in the chest area, know that it will press in like a corset for some body types. I am 5’11, curvy build - the voluminous sleeves were just right but I could see how a more petite frame might feel swallowed up. Try it on in store if you can. It seems that it could be worn as a cover up if worn reversed; the back zipper will open the garment all the way like a jacket if fully unzipped.

Another reviewer suggested wearing this shirt as a jacket. It’s such a great idea b/c the shirt runs small and looks great this way! In the back of the shirt, there is a zipper that can be unzipped and left open making the shirt into a lightweight jacket. It’s a wonderful layering piece and very stylish when worn this way. Just what you would expect from Farm Rio, with a little twist!

This top adds loads of panache to a pair of skinny jeans, or to a black or white skirt, dress, or pants. The cut is unusual, with scallops along the bottom and sleeves that are BIG and long. The fabulous flower leopard print is artfully placed and carefully sewn to be symmetrically matched. As other reviewers have said, it is fun to wear this top backwards, either open or zipped in the front, as a super lightweight "jacket." I am 5'6", 130 lb, 36C and I sized up to a medium. I will wash this top gently and take care not to shrink it. Right now the fit is pretty much exactly as shown on the model.
