Sequin & Bead Sleeveless Gown

This dress is stunning. For the price, the beadwork is impressive. The length was was perfect for my 5’ 7” height, but not for my curvy size 14 girth. It fit, but the dress accentuated my lumps and bumps rather than skimming over them. Even spanx couldn’t save me, so I reluctantly returned it. For the record I’m reviewing the size 14. It runs a little large/forgiving, but not an entire size-worth.

This gown ran large but I was expecting that as I have another in the same style For reference I am 150 lbs 5’3” short torso 39-29.5-39.5 and the only place it was snug was the bust. I got the charcoal as it was the only one left. It’s gorgeous. If you like a lightweight dress this isn’t it. That’s the only downside as it is heavy.

Beautiful dress!  Love the simplicity of the low V front and back - very flattering. It's a lacy layer of sparkling sequins over a nicely weighted dress lining. Once on, its easy the whole day/night. This is not a light-weight dress, it has heft, but it feels secure and has a nice and comfy flow. 4 Stars instead of 5 just for the delicacy of the lace threads weaved around the zillion sequins. Found one of the threads had caught and I was trailing a line of sequins, but missing them wasn't noticeable.  I just know I need to be careful hanging it in the closet, and be wary of catches, or pets.  Great length for 5'6" and heels.  

I love this dress and have bought several styles from Pisarro Nights. All of them run generous and it is safe to say to size down at least 1-2 sizes. After trying multiple sizes from this brand, I ended up with 3 size 2 dresses..... I wear a 6 top and 10 bottom. Go figure...... The dresses are stretchy but fairly shapeless. I've had the waist taken in on all. This particular dress runs very long, and at 5' 4" I was tripping on it. It would have taken away from the design to shorten it. I ended up exchanging it for a different Pisarro Nights dress that wasn't quite as long.
