Beaded Illusion Mesh A-Line Gown

I love this dress! It was beautiful and perfect! I am 5’6” and menopausal lol so I wasn’t sure what size… I bought the 14 but could have went down to a 12. It still fit great. It was so comfortable and I received so many compliments. My heels are about 3” and the length was perfect. I typically wear a large in everything. I wore this to my son’s wedding. The dress was very flattering on.

I tried on a lovely formal gown in store but as it had some damage (missing beading, loose threads) I asked that a new dress be ordered and mailed to me, which is what we did at the register. Or so I thought. The “new dress” was simply the one I had tried on, flung into a too-big box, not taped shut, and crushed in transit. The dress was okay, so I called Customer Service, and explained the situation. I was told a new dress is no longer available anywhere. I asked for a discount to be refunded to my account with the intention of having the dress “worked on” by a professional seamstress to reattach all the loose beading, I was advised Nordstrom does not give discounts but they will gladly send me a return mailing label which they did. This dress fits perfectly and is what I was looking for. I simply don’t think I should have been charged full price for a dress that is not in perfect condition. A discount would go a long way in rectifying the mishandling of this purchase and allow me to have some repair work done on the dress.

Runs very large .. I have been buying many dresses for my sons upcoming wedding trying to find the right look and fit .. I am a 14 in dresses and several I bought even felt tight .. this was huge in a 14 and was on the heavier side so decided to not try in a smaller size- but beading was not too flashy as some can be.
