Foil Hearts Dress

Love this Pippa and Julie Foil Hearts Dress. It is as sweet in person as online. It is the first thing I have bought for a sweet new baby grandchild to be born in December. A very special purchase as my husband passed away suddenly just a few months ago and he will not be with us welcoming our first granddaughter as he was with us welcoming our three grandsons. Writing this review is painful because my husband was a avid Nordstrom shopper but he was an even more avid supporter of the Black Lives Matter movement. He passed away right before the tragedy of George Floyd’s murder and the long overdue protests and movement his death inspired. My husband would be so disappointed and angered at Nordstrom’s refusal to sign the 15% pledge. He would be downright shocked as I was to learn that only 21 out of the 2,365 brands that Nordstrom carries are Black-owned, making it less that 1 percent of your shelf-space. I love the dress I purchased but am so saddened to learn that a store we both loved so much could have such an antiquated and unsupportive stance on diversity and inclusion.

very cheaply made and itchy! The fabric was a thin nylon or something and the at the border netting is also around the arms= holes (it's really more a sundress) and I can't imagine any child agreeing to wear it. It would make for a very fussy baby day, truly. Not only was the fabric was thin and cheap, one of the hearts was irreparably wrinkled ... they look to be an applique out of something like mylar (I have no idea what it was made of). Great design potential, but I was extremely disappointed, but very much appreciated the saleswoman when I returned it ... she was more than gracious. (I had to put a "size rating" but I certainly never put it on the child ...it looked about right however.)
