What it is: A lightweight, nongreasy balm that helps soften the hair fiber and prep it for blow-drying.

What it does: This thermo-active balm protects your hair from humidity and heat, leaving it silky to the touch with incomparable shine. It helps provide anti-frizz benefits for up to 72 hours.

How to use: Apply a small amount to clean, wet hair. Distribute evenly through your hair using a wide-tooth comb. Do not rinse. Style or blow-dry as desired. This balm is activated by heat.

Miracle product

So glad Nordstrom carries this stuff! It’s actually a French pharmacy cult favorite I discovered on a trip a few years ago… it calms my frizzy hair and makes it sleek and smooth. Somehow during the pandemic, I ran out and completely forgot about Phyto Defrisant and I’ve had bad hair the whole time. Now I’ve got it again and (although it’s new packaging), it’s working the same miracles already and I will never be without it again. It works best with heat styling and round brush, but you can even see results if you apply to wet hair and air-dry.

dries my hair out

My hair is naturally dry, but wavy, frizzy and unruly. Works to straighten but make hair really straight and flat. I used it for 3 weeks and stopped when my hair started drying out. I do not recommend

LIKE NOTHING ELSE

I have been using this product intermittently for 30 years. Nothing works like this. It is a plant based hair straightener, smoother. Holy grail hair product.

A mainstay in my routine!

I discovered Phyto on a trip to Paris a few years ago and bought a tube to try. It was recommended for my hair type, curly (that I straighten), and my city is very hot and humid in the summer. I now order this three tubes at a time and it’s a mainstay in my products. Highly recommend if you’re prone to frizz.
