Phyto-Blanc Brightening Protective Moisturizer

Sisley Phyto Blanc Moisturizer is THE BEST SPF 50 I've ever used!!! Speaking with the Sisley Associate, the packaging doesn't say it's an SPF 50, but in other countries, this EXACT product is sold with a "SPF 50 PA +++" label. It is the SAME product!!! I initially discovered this product for travel, it's a SUPER SUPERIOR 3-in-1 spot suppressor, moisturizer, AND sunscreen ALL in one. Once applied and absorbed like a regular moisturizer, it blends into your skin and works all day - it doesn't need to be reapplied. Note: this is NOT your sunscreen for swimming, or profuse sweating, but excellent for walking, use on sunny days, attending an outdoor game, etc. When applied, it's initially "silvery" in color, but it blends to become clear after about a minute. It feels like normal moisturizing lotion and looks great with any makeup applied over it. I'm 45 and don't have any spots on my face. I attribute it to wearing this product daily for the last 5 years at the early signs of light pigment at the tops of my cheeks. One bottle lasts me around 2-3 months. If I am traveling, it's the only product I take other than my cleansers. Doe everyday, I use it in addition to the Sisley Hydra-Global Serum and Moisturizer. Phyto-Blanc Moisturizer is VERY PRICEY, but worth it if you are a skincare minimalist and truly concerned about sun damage/spots - it's cheaper in the long run than a Dermatologist. Over the years, even my husband has taken my bottle as a "necessity" - It is the 2nd product of his initially, long-standing 1 product maximum routine!!!

I received a sample of this product. I did not care for it at all. It made my skin look drier and whiter than when I put it on. That's because the second ingredient is Titanium Dioxide, one the two main physical/mineral sunscreen ingredients. It was so unpleasant I had to wipe it off and started over with a different moisturizer. Is this supposed to be a moisturizer? My skin didn't feel moisturized AT ALL. Is it supposed to be sunscreen? If so, what's the SPF? If I just wanted to put a bunch of titanium dioxide on my face I could spend $10 on a mineral sunblock. I don't get the hype about this product. For $370 for 1.3 oz this product should be AMAZING. This wasn't even just okay. Save your money.

I didn't want to love this. In fact with the price point, I had intended to return it unless it was perfection. Ugh, it's perfection. It protects skin well and lays nicely under makeup. When I remove all of my makeup at the end of the day, my skin looks better. I don't know how. It's a superb product with a high price and worth every penny.
