What it does: Formulated with the brand's exclusive Phelityl Moisturizing Complex, this cleansing bar features a pH level that's almost identical to your skin's own to help it maintain its fatty acid levels essential for a healthy-looking complexion. Featuring the same beloved formula, this cleansing bar is repackaged to be free of plastic and to help reduce waste.
How to use: Use directly after your cleansing oil, if applicable. Dampen the bar and gently massage over your face using the rounded corners to stimulate circulation. Rinse with warm water. Follow with toner, treatments and moisturizers to match your skin's needs.

The Best
I have used Erno Laszlo "Phelity" I was called Active Phelile soap since I was 28 when Nordstrom first cam to the Tacoma Mall - I later used it as a good excuse to go to downtown Seattle or Bellevue to purchase it. My incredible personal cosmetics assistant Christy Carter now orders it online and it is shipped to me - now that I am 70 and I5 has become a nightmare. If my sustained use of the product doesn't speak volumes - Well
I stayed with this product even after the parent company changed. I hope they retained Dr Erno Laszlo's original formula. Please, don't ever stop carrying this product or employing Nordstom's greatest jewel employees like Christy Carter.

face soap
Been using this soap for many years for my face and only my face.It seems everytime I Purchase this product it keeps getting smaller.But the packing keeps getting more fancy.I would prefer they go back to the normal size of the soap and quit making the box that it comes in just a box.

Smaller bar, but still a great product
I also have been using this soap for 20 years. Love the product, but very disappointed with the much smaller size of the bar for the same price. Do companies think that consumers don't notice this?

HORRIBLE product for dry to very dry skin!!
This is the ONLY cleansing bar now offered for dry to very dry skin and it DOES NOT WORK. This bar leaves my skin dry and tight; understand I've been using the line since 1988 and switched to this bar after using up all the HydrapHel soaps I stockpiled (still found on ebay). Phelityl was used for normal to slighty dry back before the line was sold over and over; now there saying this is for the dry to very dry skin types and it is NOT. If you skin feels dry, tight, burning after you wash...it's this soap. Shame because Erno Laszlo is a FANTASTIC line and nothing came close to it.

I have ordered this in the past , it was less expensive and a larger bar of soap . Not thrilled with the shrinkage and the greater expensive I feel cheated !!

Great for fall and winter
I have combination skin, and I use this during the fall and winter when it's dryer out with the phelityl pre cleansing oil. It's great, and doesn't clog my pores. For reference, during spring and summer I use the oil with the sea mud bar. My skin has never looked better.
