Peu shoe
Great quality leather and construction, and very comfortable. Perfect for driving, with the thin sole.

Do not do it to yourself
Just crappy. Not at all what it looks like, more so once you fit it on it feels cheap, made of cardboard not leather , just a joke for the price

Fantastic boots, tongue challenge
Hi, really pleased with this boot, love the retro look of it and find them extremely comfortable and they align well to the note in the literature about mimicking bare feet, especially the shape of the toe and the low profile but still well padded sole. My one challenge I've had is with the tongue, I've found that it slides down in use and ruffles downwards at the base of the tongue, it hasn't affected the comfort but I've been a little worried about whether it's adding to the pressure on the stitching either side of the base of the tongue, I felt like the slit in the tongue for the laces is a little too high in relation to the section of lace passing through it, I experimented with moving it up to the next section of lace, which is the one across the front of the eyelets, which helped a bit but I then worried about the extra pressure placed on the leather of the tongue slit by the lace having to go back and out again to get across to the front of the next eyelet, I also tried it without using the slit so just letting the tongue sit loose, but found that it just slipped down and still ruffled at the base, so went back to the factory arrangement. I hope you can follow what I mean here! and I'd be interested in the view of the designers on this matter.

Great shape, great comfort
I ordered these online because they were no longer available in my size in store and didn't realise that the leather has quite as pronounced a texture as it does, which I wasn't sure about at first but it's grown on me. I love the shape of these shoes (I already had brown nubuck ones), they're flattering and intriguing without any of the bulk in the sole that many shoes have at the moment. They're also very comfortable. I replaced the blue laces with black ones because if I'm wearing black, which I often am, I prefer everything to be black.

Camper Peu Boots
Lovely boots but very difficult to get on, even with the zip. The zip seems strange, maybe short or at a different angle to other boots I've had. I don't think I'd buy boots again, which is a real shame, because of having to use a shoe horn. (I know it may sound like a few minutes, but if I'm visiting a friend and take them off, I literally cannot get them back on again if they don't have a shoe horn there! I have to remember to carry one with me if I wear these, so it puts me off wearing them.) I have to wear barefoot type footwear because of problem feet, and Camper are one of the few companies that do a decent range of colours in the Peu range, so it's a real shame about the boots.

Good, but on a stiffer side
I have had a pair of low Peus and they last forever (literarily) and feel right if you're into barefoot stuff. The problem I have with these is that the leather is rather stiff compared to the ones I have. I tried a few Peus at a store and figured that only the most expensive Peus (they come at 2 or 3 different price points) are made of soft leather. The rest, including these high-ankle version, just don't feel the same.
