Josie Smocked Maxi Dress

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pun intended, this darling dress just WORKS. I’m a 5’2” - 5’3” girl who needed a dress for both events I’m going to and just for days I want to have fun being a girl!! I could not find a dress that had it all: Adjustable, length, POCKETS, color, flow (without looking like it’s just hanging) and breathable…to name a few. This has it and then some! One of my favorite colors of all time too. A few ways I can style it and I always feel so pretty!!! This dress is just tops!

This dress is lovely. The material is thick and weighted, so no fear of it being see-through when it comes to a white dress. Based on the sizing chart and my typical size, I stuck to medium. Unfortunately had to return (with not enough time to reorder prior to my event) because it was too big. The top fit was okay, but it was just so much dress through the hips. Had I gone with a small it might have been doable. I suggest sizing down especially if your largest section is hips because the dress accommodates plenty of room from the upper waist down.
