Hadley Satin Halter Dress

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little hesitate to order this dress because it looks pretty light in color on the website and I was wearing it to a wedding. I ordered this and a back up dress and am SO happy with what I ordered. The color was beautiful and not too light. The fit and back?? *Chef's kiss* seriously. Order the dress. You won't regret it.

I was so excited for this dress, I love this color and silhouette, but was ultimately left disappointed. The biggest issue I had with it was that the lining peaked over the top of the dress around the chest area. If the dress had been snug or extra tight-fitting I might have been more forgiving, understanding that the lining could be rubbing up, but this was not the case. So at a distance it might have been ok but up close and when moving around it tended to show. The second issue, although not as terrible, was that the zipper was pretty tight. If I wasn't careful I could easily pull on the seams around it trying to pull it down. I don't expect much from a dress at this price point but I'd like to at least not worry about the lining showing or if I'll be able to take it on or off without seams ripping out. On the pro side, the silhouette was gorgeous which is why I'm giving it a four and not a three. The color was stunning and exactly as pictured, and the straps around the neck and back were easy to tie and adjust.

Purchased in a S and it had a lot of space around the waist so I’m waiting for the exchange (will update once I get the other size). That being said I was really impressed with the quality of the dress and even though it was larger on me then expected, it was still adorable. Planning to wear to a wedding and its a great mix of classy but still fun!
