Why go to the pros...
when you have this?! I've had chemical peels and microdermabrasion done before in hopes to lessen the acne scars and eventually, sun spots. They can get pricy and time-consuming and this machine is great because it's worth the $$$. I prefer the red discs as how I remembered the pain I endured sitting at the clinics. If you're new to microdermabrasion, start with the finer discs and work your way up. My routine involves this and a Lancome hydrogel mask (I let it sit for at least 30 mins while watching a movie) and my skin turns out so supple. also, I use Lancome Genefique twice a day. I have only been using this for 3 months, about 1-2 weeks between treatments, and can see slight improvement on the sun spots. I know acne scars will take longer but my face glows. Best investment in a while!

Warning!!
Pmd is a great product if you use it right. I was actually using it right until I ran out of disc and was left with body disc only....I chatted with customer service at PMD site and ask if it was okay to use body disc on the face. The customer service said it was absolutely safe to use the body disc on the face....trusting her advice, I used it on the face to only leave red scabs and red streaks...and I am in complete horror what it did to my face. The thing I am upset about is I asked a question that I didn't know the answer to, to an expert at PMD and she gave me the wrong info.....she had no clue what she was telling me, and that's what makes me upset and the customer service was clueless to the product she was supposed to give advice on....please be careful not to make the same mistake....now my face is worse b/c of one lousy info I got from a expert....

Wanted to love it
I bought the PMD Pro during the anniversary sale, and really wanted to love it. I couldn't wait to take it out of the box and use it. While i was reading the instructions, i noticed the filter as well as each head should be replaced every 4 uses.It is recommended to use this device every 6 days. I did the math, put the device back in the box, and went to Nordstrom to return it.

I have gotten microdermabrasion at the spa and gotten hooked. This product works as well as professional for little more than the cost of one treatment at the spa!

Scarred
Bought this product and thought it will help get rid of some discoloration on my skin. Used the sensitive disks first then a couple of weeks later I went to the green do not use the green disk ! It suctions your face like a vacuum and this was just a once going over! I talked to a representative for advise and showed her pics she didn’t think it was bad and said it happens all the time and it will heal. It’s been weeks and now I have an ugly scar on my face and have to spend money to go to a dermatologist to help fix it. The company didn’t even try to compensate do not buy this product go to a professional!!!!!

great - prefer this to the regular version
The pro is much better and gives your more discs. I would highly suggest to spring for this one vs the regular. Do be aware it is not wireless.
