Saucony
It's the shoe brand that's easy to wear but tricky to say. Saucony, pronounced SOCK-uh-nee, has been running strong since 1898, when four young businessmen opened a shoe manufacturing company in a two-story brick factory on Saucony Creek in Kutztown, Pennsylvania. Today, as always, the brand's shoes are synonymous with innovation, comfort, quality construction and style.

Gets the job done.
This is my 4th or 5th Peregrine GTX. I run all winter through snow in these and have had no foot/ankle issues. Love these shoes.

Tread will not stay glued to shoe
DO NOT BUY - Tread does not stay attached, contacted Saucony but they refused to replace shoe because it was just over a year since purchase - in actuality, I bought the shoe on Nov 19 for a Christmas gift and contacted them in early December of the next year, disappointed they relied so strictly on their warranty period

Size up
So far so good - I just got these and like how they feel, but important to mention that I have always been a size 12 but went with a 12.5 and they are just big enough. Could have gone with size 13. So go up at least half a size.

It works
Solid pair of sneakers. Feels sturdy. I like the goretex it feels like adds more support. Am a 12 and length is true to size. Heel rides a bit low on my foot for some reason so when going up hill feels like heel coming out of shoe. Not sure I would buy again for this reason but otherwise a smart shoe. Was a good price for last year's model.

What have you done to the outer sole?
I have owned countless number of peregrines, these are average shoes with below average wet traction. Looking for new shoes to section hike the Whites.
