Changing Constance Eau de Parfum

I love this scent from Penhaligons. Changing Constance is a vanilla scent but with so many other notes it’s becomes such a special scent. It’s cozy for me, makes me happy and makes me feel secure in some ways. It’s morning and office friendly so not a beast mode perfume. I also own Minuit et Demi and that’s has a more smoky heart in the notes, I also love that one.

This is wasn’t for me. I’d been wanting to try it and finally went on a splurge and bought it. I sprayed one spray and that one spray said everything. It said “you like it, but do you like this note in it,””do you really think that it’s worth and recognizable in its price range”, “can you wear it every day”? What’s that memory it brings to you”? None of the answers were favorable to keeping it. I was so unsure I, like my mother and grandparents told me “to sleep on it”. I slept on it and I still smelt it!!! Just a tiny little spray one day will carry you into the next day without reapplication. Yes to some that’s worth it. The fairness is such that not many would smell. You still do and it actually creates an effect on your septum area in which it leaves you not being able to keep it. However I do see a promise in the brand. If you can spray it one day and then smell it the same strength as I did the next day with the amount of sprayed and not take a shower, then it must be something to actually press down all the way on the button a full time or two. Leaving you with the scent for days. It’s European smoker to me at cocktail hour. That’s the best way for me to describe the way the scent makes me feel. I like finer scents but too fine on this one I am guessing. Maybe I’ll have to try another scent or a sample set out first.
