Reversible Plaid & Faux Shearling Throw Blanket

Terrible quality. I received mine yesterday and threw it in the washer last night by itself on the delicate cycle to be on the safe side after reading other shoppers' negative reviews (35 mins total, cold water wash followed by cold rinse). It emerged out of the washer with pilling on the plaid side - I’ve attached photos showing the pilling. I wish I had taken photos before I washed it to show the difference after one wash. Pretty ridiculous considering I bought this hoping it would be less high maintenance than my wool throws. Tag says the plaid side is 100% cotton while the Sherpa side is 100% polyester. Cute pattern, but shamefully inferior quality.

I bought two of these blankets to bring out at the holidays. I read the dimensions when I made the purchase but after washing they seem really small. Not sure if there was shrinkage (I followed the laundering instructions) or if it’s just my imagination but they really don’t look like they’d really provide enough coverage for one person. Besides that issue, the red and grey/black wool fabric pilled during laundering and ended up stuck all over the white faux shearling. Not exactly a clean look.
