Olympic National Park Knee High Boot (Women)

I got the “smoke” which is on the bluish side of gray, fine with me because I think the picture looks brownish and I wear a lot of blue. They run large and wide. I usually wear an 8 or 8 1/2 so I bought an 8. They fit perfectly, have plenty of room for a sock and my Superfeet arch supports. I also have a wide foot. If you are between sizes def size down. If you have a narrow foot these may be too wide. I also have long legs and they come up to about an inch and a half below my knee. I have a hard time getting tall boots and these are perfect because they are high enough without interfering with my bent knee. I was looking for a simple, stylish waterproof boot for wet winter weather that wasn’t a puffy boot, that didn’t have ties, buckles and other nonsense. With the back zipper they are easy to get on and off although I do use a boot jack to get them off. (A boot jack makes getting tall boots off less trying, especially rubber boots or cowboy boots. And you can get an inexpensive one from you-know-where.) These are not for below zero weather but I have ultimate thermal boots for that. As others have said they are trim fitting on the leg, perfect for leggings and skinny jeans but not heavier pants. The price was right, I got them on a very limited “deal” so a no-brainer. Do the rubber boot trend without looking like a fireman. The National Park angle is fun. Recommend.
