Bella Sneaker

I never write reviews, but after looking up the material symbols- I was heartbroken. So here I am. Starting with what I love about them- They are so comfortable, modern and the tiny bling makes them perfect. This was my favorite Nordies anniversary purchase and was waiting for cooler weather to wear them. I didn’t look at the reviews closely until after the purchase and realized these are not real leather. I looked up the material signs and saw the upper material was made of other material. If you are opposed to wearing leather- these are perfect. I’m disappointed in the fact these are $300 on sale and not real leather. Otherwise, I love them. I’m also undecided if I’m keeping them, but I wanted to point this out to potential buyers because the description is misleading.

Disappointed to realise there are not real suede leather. Sticker on the bottom shows the upper is man-made material as indicated by the International symbol. Othrwise they are as described. Undecided as to whether to keep.

I purchased the Bella sneaker in white during the Anniversary sale. Paul Green as a brand initially attracted me because I liked the way they looked. The quality materials and exceptional handmade craftsmanship just sparkled. The comfort factor sold me and now I own several pairs of PG loafers and sneakers. None of them required any break in time, they have all been comfortable straight out of the box. When I saw that the Bella sneaker was in the Anniversary sale I thought they were very cute and purchased them online as soon as they became available. It was when I was reading the reviews and other people had reported that they were not made out of leather that my alarm bells went off. Several months ago I had purchased a mostly synthetic PG loafer at a close out site for what I thought was a great price. Those loafers were good looking, well made and totally uncomfortable after not even 30 seconds of walking around in them. The synthetic body did not give and they weren’t any better on my second and third try. I was not going to risk a potentially very expensive mistake with the Bellas and so they were returned.

Comfortable shoe but the shiny trim just doesn’t match the shoe style. Returning

At this price, on sale, it should be leather. The exterior might be but the interior where it counts for comfort is not.

I typically wear a 7.5 in Paul Green and purchased the same. Almost 2 sizes too big. Comfortable but the style didn’t work for me. PG is a tried and true brand and usually love.
