great vintage looking
Perfect if you want not-so-boring-looking shoes as they look "aged" and, so to say, extraodinary

Can't fit my foot into these bad boys.
What a strange design for a shoe. The tongue is held down by an elastic strap that makes it impossible for my foot to fit into a shoe that is my size. Returned instantly.

Too much marking and the grommets don’t line up with the whole for the laces.
To be honest, I have multiple pairs of Frye boots, loafers, and shoes. I’ve had previous Paul Bal Oxfords and loved them. Which is one of the biggest reasons I bought them. These were really marked down so it is what it is, but the quality is definitely not what it has been in the past. The holes for the laces don’t line up with the grommets which is really annoying. But I often wear them without laces so I’m not bothering returning them. Apart from that the bottoms definitely mark a lot more than any I’ve had in the past.

Paul Bal Oxford
Great shoes - very high quality leather. Well-made soles. They can’t compete with my Frye boots, but they are very good. There is a problem with the stitching on the upper of one shoe. They didn’t catch or something and the stitch loops have come out after about two or three wearings. Can that be repaired or replaced?.

i own frye boots and
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i own frye boots and loafer and when I held these against the same listed size, they seemd to be a size bigger. I was also very disapointed with the cost of shipping and returning the items. A complete waste of money and why I did not try a new size (I didnt want to have to continue spending money on shipping if tehy were again the wrong size).

Color is not as pictured
The picture shown and the actual shoe color are different. Its a big color difference, it’s much darker. Disappointed because I’m trying to replace an old pair.
