Pulls and Snags Hair
I’ve been using the Mixed Chicks paddle brush for years and wanted to try this one to see if I liked it better. While I do appreciate the way it enhances my curl pattern, just as good as Mixed Chicks, just a different pattern. I’ve had some issues with it. The “bristles” come out easily, and my hair often snags and gets pulled due to the little balls at the ends of the “bristles”. I have 3B curls, and while my Mixed Chicks brush rarely snags (every blue moon), this brush snags my hair every time I use it. I do mean every single time. After over a year of trying it, I’ve decided to stop using it. It’s frustrating to deal with constant snags, and my hair being pulled out. That said, I love Pattern’s products overall—just not this paddle brush.

Wrong glue was used
I loved the brush, but it only lasted about a month before it came apart. This was the second paddle brush I received and the same thing happened. I can see the glue that was used to hold the brush together. I wish this brush was made better. I thought about getting the shower brush but I haven’t had much luck with the paddle brush.

This brush is the truth!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This brush is the truth! Actually all of their brushes are fantastic. I purchased this brush after buying the mini shower brush. The quality and feel is unmatched! The grip is strong yet still feels lite weight. The way the bristles glide through my daughter’s curls they bounce back so juicy. Our next move is to try it on a blowout.

Still My Go-To for Blowouts
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hate to admit it, but I’ve got a brush collection that borders on excessive, and yet, this one’s still in rotation. I use different brushes for different purposes, and this one earns its spot thanks to its heat resistance. It’s a blowout essential that handles the heat.
