Parker Imitation Pearl & Crystal Detail Long Sleeve Cocktail Minidress

I purchased this dress for my wedding, i will be an older bride. I was looking for something simple yet upscale and classic. All boxes are checked! Extremely well made with small details which elevated style. Size down for sure by one size, fit me perfectly, i am usually a size 12 which was too large, i ended up with a size 10, fit to perfection.

First the positives - the beading at the neck and back is beautifully done - really, really beautiful!! I loved the bow detail on the sleeves and I'm not a super fan of bows. These bows were elegant and understated. I'm 5'5", 120# and the length landed about an inch above my knees. The width of this dress was problematic even if I attempted expert alterations. Typically a size 6 or size 8 dress, I ordered both not knowing how this dress would fit. The 6 fit like a 10 thru the chest (I'm a 36DD and the chest area was super loose), with shoulders about an inch wider than should be for this size. I do believe that there is a body shape that this dress would fit beautifully on, so I'm still giving it 4 stars because the dress is beautiful. I truly wish it fit better!

I ordered this dress for my wedding rehearsal dinner and absolutely loved it. The material is great, it’s lined, and the beads are so fun, especially in the back. Ultimately, I returned it because it just seemed a little plain for a $700+ dress, but aside from the price I have no negative comments. True to size.
