Amazing!
I’ve never done a fragrance review but had to for this one. I’ve tried other fragrances from this brand but was not impressed. But this one is different. You just know from the first spray that it’s the one. And after a few minutes it’s even better. It’s light and fresh with a sweetness, feminine and sophisticated. Just cannot stop smelling it. I’m in love !

Don’t understand the hype
I was so excited to get this perfume because all I have heard are glowing reviews across the board. Imagine my disappointment when I smelled it. It doesn’t smell citrusy or clean to me, it smells like powder and heavy musk. I have given it 3 days and my opinion stands. The dry down is no better. I have asked others around me for their opinion and they say it’s “nice but nothing special.” I need to stop listening to TikTok influencers for fragrance recommendations.

Meh
Honestly, this is being hyped up way too much for what it is. Sure, it smells nice, sure, it’s pretty but it’s not earth shattering in terms of scent and as for the longevity, it is very poor and hardly sticks to the skin…needless to say, I am quite annoyed…
Citrusy at the top, then mildly fruity/floral, musks and woods in the dry down. Pretty but just meh…
I can’t say I am impressed with this new launch but it has its charms. However, it’s far too expensive for what it is. $355 USD + tax for a skin scent is kind of shocking, don’t you think?

Valaya Smells Amazing
Valaya is my first Parfum De Marley purchase. I really loved so many of them but I was never 100 percent convinced until this one. This one is a combination of a few of them but not as intense. Smells really good and not overpowering. It also helps that I received a few compliments on it on the same day I purchased and wore it.

Citrusy, more Masculine
Definitely smell the first citrusy notes of Bergamot & Mandarin and then notes of Orange Blossom in the center. The dry down is very strong and is a lot more Masculine. This smells more like a men’s cologne. I am a huge fan of Parfums De Marly’s other scents but was disappointed since I had the impression that this was going to be more of a lighter, feminine and floral but this is actually the opposite.

Wonderful-had to get it
Smelled it at Nordstroms loved it and then couldn’t stop thinking about it and ordered it. It makes me think of a wedding for some reason- the smell, not the bottle although it is white. It’s subtle, delicate, sophisticated. I don’t pick up the citrus too much but the musk is just perfect.
