This smells absolutely LOVELY! It has all my favorite notes of patchouli, rose, jasmine, bergamot and musk. This is a good One! I take nothing away from Parfums De Marly’s creation. But I can’t help but notice a striking resemblance to Dior’s Ja’Dore Absolu. Upon first sniff I was brought somewhere I had been before and that was it! Both scents are absolutely beautiful! They both have the jasmine note and that may be what I’m smelling. Darcy can stand alone but she has a sister in Dior Ja’dore Absolu.

While I love the gold bottle, I prefer the other PdM for women fragrances. Darcy is very heavy on the patchouli making it smell like something a trustfund hippie would wear.

Smells like royalty!
I was looking for a scent similar to David Yurman’s signature scent and when I smelled this, it was so similar that I made the purchase! It is pricy but the scent lasts all day and I get tons of complements!

Beautiful scent but...
I had the opportunity to spray this on my wrist at Nordstrom Bellevue, WA and an hour later while shopping in the mall, the scent vanished! I thought maybe it was because I didn't spray enough but the following week I stopped at Nordstrom again and was given a sample to take home. I used it the following day and the smell was gone after an hour. I'm so glad I was able to sample it before purchasing online because it's too expensive for the scent not to last and I would have returned it!
