Paradigme Le Parfum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had used this product for a past week and I love it. The application was smooth and only needed a fews spray. The opening was fresh and pleasant. The drydown was my favorite part because it stayed soft, cleanand last very long on my skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Paradigme flanker I didn’t expect to love. As a fragrance enthusiast let me begin with my initial thoughts on this release considering the Paradigme EDP was a mediocre and boring release. Originally I thought this was going to be the same, just another boring flanker with the same DNA with some slight tweaks but I’m genuinely pleased by the changes made by Prada. They completely fixed the short comings from the EDP and created a release for a different demographic. A more mature and long lasting fragrance that shines throughout the day. Enough with comparing it to others though, I’ll make sure to a thorough review without any bias. Prada Paradigme Le Parfum opens up with a rich burst freshness and sweetness. The bergamot shines almost instantly giving it a pleasant start. After the first 15-20 minutes it quickly develops into a more rich vanilla amber heavy scent with some of the bergamot still in the background balancing out the heavier tones creates a nice pleasant mature deep masculine scent. After the 45 minute mark, the scent drys down to its final form, a true ambery woody heavy scent that stays true through the life of the scent. The balsam and vanilla push and pull each other continuously create a rich balance that prevent the other from taking the spot light. Longevity is incredible, with performance well above the 6-8 hour mark. This stuff will last an entire night out. Projection and performance is extremely solid with projection covering a solid 2 feet. Overall I’d classify this scent more as a winter scent, the vanilla and amber really shine in colder environments and could potentially be cloying in hotter temperatures. It could potentially be office safe but some may find it a bit too sweet and overpowering. I wouldn’t suggest blind buying this as the balsam might not be everyone’s cup of tea. This definitely more on the mature side of the fragrance world. I envision a nice well dressed persona wearing this on a night out. Overall, Prada did amazing with the Paradigme Le Parfum release. It’s balanced extremely well, projection, longevity and performance are all very high and the scent smells heavenly. Definitely a new addition to my rotating 10 fragrances.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This new release addresses concerns of the previous releases. It has the original woody amber-y DNA with a darker punch to it. It definitely smells unique. It opens up with bergamot and the typical woods and then quickly dries down to a balsamic base. This provides it with extra longevity. The projection is obvious, it is above average and same can be said for sillage, it definitely can be smelled without someone having to be next to you. I would say this is great for the colder months, a great pick during the fall and winter season. 7/10
