Linen Fitted Sheet

My first time buying Parachute linen, and while the linen fabric is very soft, it's also quite thin. Compared to my Matouk linen sheets, it's literally half the thickness, and almost like a semi-sheer curtain if you hold it up to the light. I'm keeping it because the fog gray is a pretty color, and I do like the softness, but I'm a little concerned about durability. If you're looking for exceptionally light linen for summer, this might be the ticket, just don't count on these sheets lasting for years.

I came to check when I purchased this fitted sheet and it was on 08/04/2023. Today I was making the bed I don’t know how to describe it exactly but it looks sort of thinly shredded and torn, so basically it is torn and there is another spot that looks about to tear as well. Unfortunately I will take partial blame for not realizing linen sheets only last 2-5 years but I would expect that from a cheap brand, not when you spend $160 (king size) and it lasted a year. Will never buy this brand again.
