Luxe terry robe

I'm in love with this robe. Classic white cotton terry that's super soft and a good weight/thickness. I washed and dried mine when it arrived, as it came with a green smudge on it that looked like chalk. It came out completely, so I didn't worry about it. The terrycloth stayed soft and thick and didn't turn rough or ragged. Kept its shape and loft. The robe seems like it shrunk but only slightly. The fit imo is a bit more streamlined than I anticipated but I like this, as it doesn't swallow me or look sloppy. I'm 5'4", 130 lbs, 35 bust 29 waist 39 hip and the medium (after laundering) fits perfectly. Would make a great gift for someone or a "to: me, from: me!" gift :)

Very Soft Robe

This robe is very soft fabric and is exactly what I was looking for. It runs a bit large, but I stuck with the medium, but a small likely would have worked for me. Sleeves are a bit long, but I just rolled them up. I am 5 feet 3 inches, weight 142 (chunky build female) in my mid 60s. Have not washed it yet.

Doesn’t last

It was a beautiful gift from my husband. He spent a lot on it. I love the color and the cottony warmth. However, within a very short time, the robe started getting pullers and fraying. There are stray threads everywhere. No longer looks plush and luxurious. It looks like it’s falling apart. Too much money to spend for such low quality. Very disappointing.

Does Not Hold Up to Washing

I was really happy with this robe when it first arrived. It’s very cozy, and the fabric is thick and soft. However, I quickly noticed several snags that I initially thought were from my pet’s claws snagging on it, but after washing, I noticed snags all over the robe. It’s like the terry cloth is just unraveling. Very disappointing, especially since this initially appeared to be a good quality robe.

Lightweight Robe

The fabric was thin and the robe has little overlap. I purchased the large and I returned for a different robe.

The usual lesser product.

This is a replacement from this company of the same robe I've had for about five years. This one is smaller in all dimensions (length, sleeve, shoulder) and the fabric is more coarse than the last. Another example of the same product, same company that is not the same. Really wouldn't recommend and I think I'm done with parachute.
