Barth Boat Shoe (Men)

The shoes are great! The leather is soft and the shoes are very comfortable. I was worried about how they may fit (I wear US size 11) - since other European-sourced shoes like Mephisto run large to very large, but these were true to size and fit perfectly. In the one photo on the Nordstrom website, these shoes look burgundy/cordovan, but they are a true brown. Additional photos showing more views would be helpful. I plan to purchase more Paraboot shoes. There are a few Paraboot styles I have had my eye on for a while, but I felt uncomfortable purchasing from Europe because I was not sure how they would fit - and did not want to deal with trying to return them if they did not fit right, nor accepting the loss because they are relatively expensive. I hope Nordstrom carries a larger selection of Paraboot shoes in the future.

I ordered these shoes for my husband for a gift as he has two very old pairs of the same shoe in a different color that are on their last legs (or feet) HA. It was hard to find the same shoes as some things changed from the past pairs, but these were still a close enough match to get them. As for size and fit, the length is good though they are slightly narrow and tight. He will keep them as we expect them to stretch out with wear. For reference, he wears an 11 W in US sizing. I hope these shoes are not going away though!
