Kate Stretch Modal Robe

I have sensory issues and am very sensitive to things like clothing seams, the type of fabric used (no polyester, please ...), and the texture. Finding clothes and pajamas I like is always a challenge. I decided I should review this in case it helps someone get a comfy robe they like. This robe is so incredibly soft. The fabric flows with your body, instead being stiff or crisp like cotton can be. It's a medium weight, but I wouldn't call it warm. I'm 5'9", and most of the time, "long sleeves" means "barely past my forearm"... but the sleeves on this were exaggerated and long enough for me without being annoying. They also made me feel like a cool vampire lord when I held my arms out to the side. I've had 100% modal PJs pill on me after a wash or three before. I noticed this was blended with elastaine, so I hoped that would add some durability. I've washed it probably 20 times now, and it hasn't pilled at all. Its just as lovely as it was on the first day. I just ordered a few other things from the same brand because I love my robe so much.

This is a gorgeous green color and fit was true to size! Great length for a taller person too. I’m around 5’9” and there is plenty of length for me. The reason I will be returning this is because the sleeve openings are not conducive to cooking or doing any tasks due to how wide they are. They would catch on everything and possibly be a hazard.

Quality fabric, well sewn, shaped for proper contour. The only thing I don't like is the very wide sleeves. I am busy and do a lot of things in my robe, so I secured the sleeve openings to fit my wrists because I need them out of the way. The fabric is stretchy and although lightweight has density. It sizes on the larger side if you're on the fence. I bought a large because of measurements on the size guide but actually a medium would have been a better fit for me. Overall I really like it.
