Deceiving look
I haven't owned a pair of Birkenstocks for decades and decided to order the Papillo as it had a more sneaker-like sole. What a disappointment. I thought they would have more flex to them but it was like walking on bricks. Sent them back.

read the reviews - cute but so uncomfortable
I somehow did not see all the commonalities of the existing reviews. While these shoes are so cute, they are so extremely uncomfortable. The soles are so hard, the divots in the footbed do not hit at the right place, and they’re very tight (and that’s coming from someone with narrow feet).

Save your money
Had high hopes for these. I love my Birkenstocks and thought these would be great! Add a platform, genius! Reality is they are a totally different shoe than my Birks. Super narrow, had to loosen all the straps because I had blisters. They are stiff and do not provide any support. In fact, they hurt. I had band aids on my feet after day 2 of wearing these. Would not recommend.
