Awesome support and comfort
Really happy to have these in a platform. The heel lift and extra support of the foot bed is better for my achilles tendinitis. They put a soft liner under the straps so they won't rub your skin off. I wear a 39 in regular Birks, but wear a 38 in these. Love them!!

loving the platform
I’ve had this for a few years. I love the platform giving me height, I’m 5’ it helps. I’ve own several birks and love how it molds to your feet over time making it comfy to walk in. These platforms have not done the same. They are still pretty stiff after 3yrs and doesn’t bend when you walk. Like walking with bricks. I do love wearing them with my wide jeans so I’ve kept them. Hopefully they will become more comfortable in the future. Yikes

Is this really leather??
This is listed as a leather product- I am pretty sure that is not accurate- it even says they are vegan in the foot bed- I was expecting my usual Birkenstock but I think that maybe this is their lower end line that is maybe not the normal Birkenstock I love.

Finally a Birk that fits and is cute!
I love these! I got them last week and I'm not normall a Birkenstock kind of girl but with the lift and the style being more narrow then a typical Birkenstock I'm in LOVE! They are super cute with wide leg jeans and shorts! They are already getting comfortable and I've only had a week. Highly recommend!!!
If you haven't purchased Birkenstocks before I recommend going down a size. I wear a 7.5 but needed the 37 in these to have them fit.

Same price point as Birkenstock but do not expect them to look and feel like Birkenstocks.
These are vegan …. no suede bottom or leather straps.
For those reasons I feel like they are overpriced.
Because I like the platform, I am still debating whether I will keep or return.

isn't it amazing how sO-called human beings (showing nO actual humanity) will pooh pooh when a brand takes The step to implement more kindness and lean towards more Vegan offerings. calling it "not real" leather. yes it is REAL leather. however, it's not your cruel ANIMAL SKINNINGS type of leather. it may be manmade or made by PLANTS. plant leather is real. and sO is synthetic. leather is a material which can consist of your cruel animal skinnings that you seek to monopolize The term for and hold status "higher end ::eyeroll:: / LOwer end" about that you enjoy at The expenses of * OTHERS *, OR other plant-derived and animal-FREE.
