365 Unisex Organic Cotton Track Pants

I went to NYC last week and ended up packing for all the wrong weather: They we’re having unprecedented warm weather. So off to the Nordstrom’s Flagship store up at Columbus Circle I go, and this collection was featured in the windows. I bought the lilac pair of track pants in Unisex L because they were sold out of M. They were a large, but when I got back to Sacramento, they washed up very nicely in cold water and appear to have shrunk enough. I also line dried them, as I do with most of my clothes. The material is really comfortable French terry. I love the sort of “muji” or no-name sort of script labeling on the pant leg. It reminds me of 1980s’ Japan and how it was trendy for clothing and accessories to have fanciful witting on them. We called it “Japlish,” a combination of Japanese and English that was usually delightfully nonsensical. I ordered the long-sleeved shirt in the same color to go with these track pants. Price is worth it due to the quality and the vision of the company and since they are supportive of Europe (made in Portugal) and helps with our extreme over-reliance on a certain country. I just noticed that there is a grape leather sneaker in this line. Yay! The more we can do to be cruelty free and enact sustainable consumption habits the better!

The material is great, love this brand and all it stands for sustainability-wise. Unfortunately, these were very large fitting for me, so much so that I actually questioned if I had purchased the right size. For reference, I am a mens size 30 waist and purchased a small, and they were basically falling off :(. Order a size down!

Fit was too baggy/oversized and had no shape to them. Weren’t flattering at all and didn’t seem like that good of quality either.

They are a thick heavy cotton knit, traditional sweat pant sloppy fit. Comfortable. Soft. Thick like old school track pants. We needed the color for Saint Patrick’s day. So they worked. Wish more colorful clothes were made by more designers. Tired of beige and black!
