Panelled Pintuck Faux Suede Midi Skirt

Normally I’m between a M and L (8/10). And I bought the M. It fit perfectly and not tight at all! Excited to wear for fall. I’m 5’5” with longer legs and it hits mid shin for me

I just came back from alterations at Nordstrom and had an Invoice of $177 of which only $48 is redeemable in Notes due to previous alterations this year! The maximum is $200 a year. This skirt is a perfect example of why it seems so unfair to charge for alterations when so many items could come in a petite (like they did years ago at Nordstrom). Halogen made a petite jacket in Panelled Pintuck Faux Suede but not a skirt! I have been a customer for over 40 years and wish I didn't have to alter so many of the things I buy or at least not be penalized by having to pay for alterations simply because I'm smaller.

The skirt is a good fake for suede, but there is a big downside. The skirt weighs a ton. It is like carrying an extra 5 pounds around when you try to move. It si going back.

This was just too much for my short frame. There is soooo much fabric! Perhaps if you sized down it wouldn't look so overwhelming on...

Love this skirt! It is so flattering. Planning to wear it for fall family pictures!
